As a wildlife photographer, I began to receive clear messages for myself from the animals and birds in my photos. At the end of 2023, I reviewed my monthly wildlife images to reflect on the energy and messages, which in turn helped me to more easily process and document my transformative journey that year.
I even discovered my true essence mirrored in unique images of the moon and sunrise.

Photography is not just my passion; it became a mirror for my soul. As I began taking creative self-portraits, even more of my true essence was reflected back to me.
After the dissolution of my marriage, I moved to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica with my dog. We arrived just in time for a full solar eclipse. That night, I watched a movie that mentioned eclipses and quoted Jung, who associated them with rebirth.
Without the expansive ocean views, the rising moon, the vibrant sunrises, or the dancing birds, my creative energy shifted inward. I embarked on a deep journey of understanding who I was, separate from my marriage and the magical “Disney Movie” setting.
The photos I captured became mirrors to my soul, revealing my essence, my authentic expressions, and my deepest passions. Parts of myself that had long been hidden were finally revealed, witnessed, and cherished by my eyes and heart.
From this transformative experience, I created the True Essence Program, a playful and feminine exploration of self.
The program cultivates intuition and imagery, using photography as a window to the soul, reflecting the true self. This process awakens self-awareness, nurtures self-love, and illuminates the authentic self and vision.
My inner child, Eli, gave a resounding “YES” to this new program. We knew we had completed our journey with Core Emotional Healing and returned to our inner joy. It reminded me of when I was four, bursting through the door after kindergarten with excitement, and eagerly asking, “Wanna see my pictures?”
Memories flooded back to me. Around that same age, I suddenly started telling myself and everyone I knew that I wasn’t creative, and I even skipped art and music classes in school.
In my 20’s I surrounded myself with artists and musicians, saying, “I’m not creative, that’s why I hang out with them”, despite spontaneously making up silly rap songs when we were drinking.
I really believed I wasn’t creative until after I completed four years of experiential courses when I was 34 —it must have originated from some early criticism of my pictures. Then, a decade later, I went on to become an essence photographer. I burst out laughing and said, “Eli, you’re a Creative Goddess and I love your pictures!”
Shortly after I created the True Essence Program, I had an astrology and soul reading with Hugo. He described my energy as powerfully transformative, stating that its impact was ‘triple’ in terms of action.
Hugo shared that my energy centers on believing in the invisible, where each person’s journey and miracle are unique. When people connect with my energy, their intentions expand, making the impossible possible. He further confirmed that I guide people toward self-love, serve as a “mother of many”, and inspire them to dream and embody their true selves.
My first True Essence group experienced unexpected transformations, with many of them moving to new places that better suited them. I extended the amount of time for my next group, leading to even deeper transformations.
Participants not only expressed their true essence, but their lives profoundly transformed, aligning with new jobs, inspiring creative projects, healthier boundaries, supportive relationships, and an overall sense of ease and joy.They were amazed and giggling with delight putting all the images together and reflecting on their journeys.
I then envisioned a year-long process that everyone can go through with me, at their own pace. To make it even more accessible, I recorded videos for each assignment.
